Facebook.

The reason I have taken a break from Facebook.

When I watched this, it inspired me. Nothing else needs to be said.

Tomorrow night I'll be able to sign on, but I'm not even sure I want to now.

"You don't know me"

High heels are torture devices! I gave my presentation for my marketing class today and felt like I was going to pass out from the pain. I'd rather wear flip flops or slippers. I hate dress shoes!!!

On a brighter note everything is melting in Rochester!!!! It's like 50 degrees out and it's so warm!!!!
Plus I have this song stuck in my head <3

Wednesday of Week 10!

Update: I haven't been on Facebook since Saturday night. I'm proud of myself. =]

I'm sitting at Javas now, waiting for class to start at 6.
Listening to Bon Iver- "Re: Stacks"
It really makes me slow down and think about what I'm doing with myself lately. I think every so often I need a good reflective song that makes me slow down.; forces me to take in the small moments and appreciate them. Sometimes I feel like I'm loosing myself in chaos. This song grounds me; gives me a stable spot to move on from

The Twilight Zone

"Penny for your Thoughts"
Air Date: 1969

I've been watching episodes of The Twilight Zone for most of the night and now this morning. I can't help but feel nostalgia when watching: I remember watching them with my Dad, and picking on him because he wanted to watch the marathon. Sometimes it's nice to have something familiar when the stress of school and finals.

Anthropologie

Today was by far the best Monday ever. This morning it was 44 degrees in Rochester! Amazing! One of my classes got canceled and I didn't have to show up for my lab. so my roommate and I traveled to Pittsford.

We stopped at the mall and way a really awesome window display.

These are dresses made out of newspaper. They're folded, paper
mached, and sewn. They even have zippers.

I spent a good 30 minutes in this store. It's called "Anthropologie"
and has a bunch of vintage and worldly things.

I found a book about Audry Hepburn!

I even found "Dr. Seus's Green Eggs and Ham" in FRENCH! And it rhymes in French too!

This store was pretty inspiring but the prices weren't. I think next time I need inspiration to make something, I'll definitely go back. =]

For the next week, I'm taking a vacation from Facebook. I think it will be a good thing to stop a much known addiction. My goal is a week.

Sickness

This Blog has really gotten away from me. This is partially because I've been sick for the past few weeks, and I still don't feel 100% better. The other part is this quarter of classes is getting real intense and I'm finding that with my sickness and the added work that I have to make up now, makes me feel even more run-down and stressed.

I'm going to try to take, and post a picture everyday for the rest of the quarter. That is my new goal for this Blog.

This makes me excited! I finally used the digital Hasselblad and downloaded the software for it. It's actually pretty easy to pick up the basics of. I definitely want to play around with it more. =]

Snowy Shoot-out

Today it snowed like crazy in Sodus!! By 3pm it cleared up and the lake in Irondequoit looked so peaceful. I miss this place. In the summer, it's the best place to be.

So, I haven't been posting this week because I've been caught by a horrible sickness! Now all that's left are the tons of tissues all over my apartment...kind of gorss.

Brigitte Sire

I found this photographer during another search for fashion-American Eagle Outfitters photographers. I'm noticing a trend of warm tones, the color is faded and more stylized. The pictures look warm and welcoming.
